Forum Sekuriteit speel ’n belangrike rol in die beskerming van skole

Forum Security het op 22 Oktober 2022 die sekuriteitsdienste geborg vir die Super 12-atletiekbyeenkoms wat by die Germiston-stadion gehou is.

Die Super 12-atletiek word twee keer per jaar gehou. Vanjaar se organiseerder, Laerskool Hennopspark in Centurion, het egter besluit om net een groot geleentheid met al 23 deelnemende skole aan te bied. Sowat 2 200 laerskoolleerders het aan die geleentheid deelgeneem met byna 7 000 toeskouers om hulle te ondersteun.

Ten spyte van nat weerstoestande tydens etenstyd, was die geleentheid ’n groot sukses met behulp van Forum Sekuriteit se dienste.

“Forum Sekuriteit is trots om ons skoolgemeenskappe by te staan met alle aspekte van veiligheid. Vir die Super 12-atletiekbyeenkoms het dit deeglike veiligheidsevaluerings voor die byeenkoms ingesluit. Die veiligheidsevaluerings help om vas te stel waar veiligheidswagte benodig sal word en om watter rede. Dit het ons ook in staat gestel om na verskillende veiligheidselemente te kyk, byvoorbeeld elektrisiteit, hekke, heinings, water sowel as die verskillende loop- en ry-oppervlaktes. Die uitvoering van die veiligheidsplanne was doeltreffend en het bygedra tot die suksesvolle uitvoering van ons pligte,” sê Nic Arnold, uitvoerende direkteur van Forum Sekuriteit.

Forum Security plays an important role in the protection of schools

Forum Security on 22 October 2022 sponsored the security services for the Super 12 Athletics event held at the Germiston Stadium. Schools’ top two learners in their respective disciplines of each grade participated in the event.

The Super 12 Athletics are held twice a year. However, this year’s organiser, Laerskool Hennopspark in Centurion, decided to host only one big event with all 23 participating schools. About 2 200 primary school learners participated in the event with close to 7 000 spectators to support them.

Despite wet weather conditions during lunch time, the event was a great success with the help of Forum Security Services.

“Forum Security is proud to assist our school communities with all aspects of security and safety. For the Super 12 Athletics event this included doing thorough security assessments prior to the event. The security assessment assists in establishing where security guards would be required and for what reason. Whilst the safety assessment allowed us to look at different safety elements for example, electricity, gates, fencing, water as well as the different walking and driving surfaces. The execution of the safety and security plans were effective and contributed to the successful execution of our duties,” says Nic Arnold, Executive Director.
